The 22nd Annual SCORE San Felipe 250 will take place at the quaint fishing village of San Felipe, located on the East side of the Baja California peninsula along the tranquil waters of the Sea of Cortez. With over 250 entries from 20 states and six countries expected to compete, the competition will undoubtedly be fierce. The landmark San Felipe Arches will once again mark the start of the 231-mile long loop course. The course features the famous "Zoo Road" spectator area, as well massive washes with silt, jagged rocks, and narrow passes between rock walls. Considered to be one of the roughest races of the year, the attrition rate is expected to be high, especially considering the ten hour time limit.G&R Racing will be campaigning both the #38 trophy truck of Garron Cadiente as well as the #39 trophy truck of Ron Whitton. Garron Cadiente previously won the ultra rough SCORE San Felipe 250 in 2006, which was the last time this course was run as a part of the SCORE series. Garron's teammate Ron Whitton also finished in the top of the field, with a 4th overall and a 3rd in trophy trucks.Cadiente had this to say about the upcoming title defense, "We do really well at short rough races. My driving style and our trucks suit this course. I have a good start position, so I plan on getting out front and leading the race. We made a couple of changes including a new Toyo tire package that has allowed us to increase the speed of our trucks. "Whittion stated, "This is one of those races that anything can happen! A lot of vehicles will break. Even though I am starting in the back, I feel confident. I have a fresh engine and a well prepped truck. We will see you at the finish line!"

XBall was designed to be a spectator sport, the giant X pushes players out the tapes, so don't fight that!This is basic tape fill strategy. If you push the tapes in XBall, you will win games. Front players- get to the tape, push up to the 40, shoot insideMid players- keep your front players alive, keep them calm, talk to them, settle them down, and when the front players get taken out, immediately fill the spot and continue the tape pushBack Players- Which ever side you lose the body FIRST, quickly fill that side!If you lose someone on the left, fill the left. Lose someone on the right, quickly fill the right side.By pushing up the tapes, and shooting inside, you can multiply the amount of elimations you get on the XBall field. There are no shots in the middle back of the field, get to the tape, push the tapes, shoot inside, and you'll get alot more eliminations!Enjoy!
