Bottle of WineWords and Music by Tom Paxton[Cho:]Bottle of wine, fruit of the vine,When you gonna let me get sober?Leave me along, let me go home.Let me go back and start over.Ramblin' around this dirty old town,Singin' for nickels and dimes.Times getting tough I ain't got enough,To buy a little bottle of wine.[Cho:]Little hotel, older than Hell,Dark as the coal in the mine.Blanket so thin, I lay there and grin,'Cause I got a little bottle of wine.[Cho:]It's a pain in my head, bugs in my bed,And my pants are so old that they shine.Out on the street, tell the people I meet,To buy me a bottle of wine.[Cho:]A preacher will preach, and a teacher will teach,And a miner will dig in the mine.I ride the rods, trusting in God,And huggin' my bottle of wine.[Cho:]
Meet one of the newest entrants into the Guinness book of world records, the world's largest bottle of wine. Measuring both four and a half feet tall and around, this record breaker holds over 1200 glasses of wine inside its towering glass frame. Glass artist Charles Parriott found a facility in the Czech Republic large enough to tackle the one of a kind project. The bottle will be auctioned off at Sotheby's in New York, with proceeds going directly to "Share our Strength", one of the world's leading organizations dedicated to ending hunger both in the United States and abroad.
